
PPGQ research is national and international highlight
PPGQ research receives recognition from CNPq President, from the Minister of Science and Technology and from the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and is featured in various media, including Jornal Nacional.
Research coordinated by PPGQ researcher, Prof. Nelson Roberto Antoniosi Filho, and developed by graduate student of the program, João Marcos Gonçalves Barbosa, in collaboration with the UFG Clinical Hospital, allows the simple and inexpensive diagnosis of cancer from ear wax.
The research, besides being published in an internationally renowned journal (Scientific Reports, click here to access the article), has gained release in numerous media, including Jornal Nacional (click here for the full new in JN) and the recognition of the Minister of Science and Technology (Marcos Pontes), the CNPq President (João Luiz Filgueiras de Azevedo) and the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry (Gregory Winter).
