The Graduate Program in Chemistry IQ / UFG is located at the Chemistry Institute at Campus II UFG. IQ works in two buildings (IQ-I and IQ-II), with total area of 6000 m 2. In 2015, all IQ-II building was renovated with REUNI-UFG resources, modernizing the entire laboratory infrastructure. Also part of the IQ-UFG the buildings NUPEC (Center for Research in Science Teaching) and LAMES (Separation and Extraction Methods Laboratory). Regarding the laboratory infrastructure, exist today in IQ 17 responsibility research laboratories of PPGQ of teachers, as well as 03 multi-user laboratories coordinated by IQ teachers and an analytical center that holds some medium and small equipment, shared by teachers and technicians. Moreover, with the entry of external members, PPGQ also has a laboratory infrastructure IF-UFG and Agroenergy Embrapa (Brasilia / DF). Doctoral students, master's and undergraduate feature well - equipped study rooms for the development of its activities. The Postgraduate office occupies a 20 m2 room equipped with 04 computers, printers, cabinets, etc. The department has 02 exclusive secretaries.   1. Center for Research in Science Teaching - NUPEC. 400 m2 building, built with funds from FINEP and resources of their own UFG. The building has a teaching laboratory 10 m long, with benches, cabinets, drawers, light installation, water, gas, etc., storeroom, a mini auditorium with capacity for 70 people classroom, computer room for students , meeting rooms for teachers, central internet, eat-in kitchen, bathrooms and a center space for exhibitions.
